If you set your mind and expand your horizons, you need to do some brain exercises. However, unlike what you might be thinking, you don't necessarily need to try to break your head about brain games to perform these operations. These are ideas that almost anyone attempt to be able to do yourself a bit with some effort.
Free writing
Unlike most brain exercises, does not mean free writing makes you smarter, at least not in the traditional sense. Instead, free way to revitalize your mind writing subconscious. Often used by psychologists to assist victims of emotional trauma to unlocking memories hidden f feelings; however is a strong concept for anyone to use if they want to come up with new ideas, just try to tell u what are experiencing really.
Warning before proceeding though: if done correctly, can bring up some writing free emotions wow ideas that you might need to remember or think about. He can be a very powerful tool, especially if you, for example focus on solving a specific problem. We're going to use simpler way but to demonstrate what can be done with this powerful process. We're going to explore the childhood memories.
Focus on some of your memory from childhood. Written on a piece of paper. Now, start writing everything you remember about that specific memory. You want to continue writing, without stopping to think for five minutes straight (should time yourself using stopwatch). Key never stop writing. Just keep writing whatever comes to mind. If you have to stop and think, this is done incorrectly.
Those who follow this exercise correctly (many people don't-they stop and think, rather than leave their minds flow freely) you will find they suddenly remembered things that wasn't thought for years and they have brought up feelings of childhood they never believed for a long time or never intentionally allowed themselves know they feel.
While you may be concerned that some results of this process, we focused on childhood memories of reason: show you just how powerful this concept. Can be applied to almost anything — if you have trouble, you can sit and do writing free in an attempt to unlock your subconscious to find solutions to those problems. Key again, and unlike most brain left your mind wander.
News story ideas
Tom Clancy's famous idea "Chase" Red October to read newspaper. John Grisham came up with the idea for his first novel a time to kill, while watching an ongoing trial. Our second brain exercises involving the use of news to come up with new ideas for stories. Even if you don't want ever to write a short story or novel, just exercise your mind in this way can help you expand it. Pick up a newspaper and read section you will usually ignore. If you skip directly to the sports section usually, read lifestyle. If you prefer read policy, read the sports section.
To see these new concepts and comparison with things you already know, you should be able to make contact. Maybe I'll put the idea to write about how to run the Derek Jeter. Maybe I'll write a story about women whose husband loves sport and decided to turn it into a business, decorating homes with sports souvenir singles. Key new contacts between disparate ideas.
Read a book
It's the sad reality that Americans are less and less time to read a book these days. However, when it comes to brain exercises, few things stronger than reading a book. While it takes longer to read a book, watching a movie, read a book forces your mind imagine how characters look like while watching a movie allows you to turn off your mind and feed just a series of images. Choose a book even-almost any book, although a good novel is usually preferable. Allow yourself to be absorbed into the world of the author and you'll find your mind closer to experiment.
