I'm not a particularly religious or spiritual, but the last year or so I may attend lessons meditation in temples "Thai Buddhism" at Wimbledon. Bodhabadiba WAT the first Buddhist temple in the United Kingdom and the architectural style is the same temples you will find in Thailand.

After 10 minutes wandering in my opinion and my seated is feeling uncomfortable, open my eyes, watching monk sitting ramrod straight like statue back radiating a sense of peace. This inspires me to return to my meditation, I'm past the last five minutes or so before I have to get myself comfortable again. The last ten minutes or so I drift off to more outlandish ideas prior to myself until now.
End of meditation with ringing the Bell of the monk in the end the evening with some shouting over.
At the end of the evening you can join the conversation, monk tea and keep meaning to do this in one night, but haven't yet.
I leave feeling refreshed and awesome temple this made me to return each week, a respite from crazy modern life.
