We were on a family vacation to India, and touring the State of Rajasthan last year. These tombs and forts built by Chas and rice old quite impressive! They did all the planning with pen and paper and some basic hand tools-any computer generated images, no electricity, no authority was used after these places have spectacular breath! The most amazing learning about ancient Indian astronomy due to more than 4000 years! The birth of the modern theory of big bang and many other astronomy in ancient India. Great observatories in major cities to study the movement of celestial bodies and using complex mathematics to see movement and velocity and trends – pretty amazing!
Now, what does this have to do business? As a famous author once said, "everything conceivable reason man, it can achieve". These people have the imagination and dreams as big universe itself-that is why they can accomplish so much, and it is not built by aliens from another planet and that some of us think.
Napoleon Hill talks about this sort of thing in his chapter on fantasy. Two types of imagination-synthetic creativity. Artificial imagination is simple: take old ideas and concepts, plans and owned them to something new. Kind of like having someone else work, changes to it and claim as your own. In the academic world and call this "plagiarism" (apparently satisfactory, isn't it?) but I think learning from the masters how to do something and adding your own twist. I love when people "stealing" my thoughts and put them nicely. Makes me feel like I have done someone some good in this world.
The other is "creative imagination". These are my personal favorites because I've always been a dreamer. For me, it is communicating with God and with the spirits of other people in my life. Hunches, gut feeling level cannot explain. And also the leading astronomers of ancient building on the incredible aobisirvatoris. Keeping my memory than using creative fantasy life during a particularly painful time when I'm recovering from depression committed suicide. The period of time when I walked around in a daze for half the time, most I couldn't focus on anything, or remember anything and bring the dark world. I almost didn't survive. One day, I heard talk for me. Not everyone recognises I voted and there is nobody around. Voice told me that things will not always be so bad-hold skin my teeth if I had to because it would improve things. And so today I thought I voted "God himself" and the words continue to me for several years from my escalating battle against depression.
When you combine these two types of imagination-and the result is tremendous. You can use to accomplish anything you want-out of poverty, and help other people out of poverty, saving lives, rebuilding their lives. I think that because I believe that God created us in his image-dream, and accomplish more than ever thought possible.
